A to Z of Lurve, Dating & Relationships: “C”
Life is so much more fun when you have a crush, isn’t it?! There’s someone to look forward to hopefully bumping into when you’re out. You get butterflies when you see them. You can make up a whole story in your head about how you think they are, or how you want them to be. Fancying someone can just bring out the positivity in you – honest! You just have to make sure you keep your feelings for your crush under control, so it doesn’t affect you going about your day-to-day life… or them going about theirs…
This is the biggest factor to consider in any type of relationship. It can’t even be stressed enough in words how important it is to communicate. We need to know how to speak to each other, how to listen to each other and not to be afraid of expressing ourselves to each other, to avoid confusion and relationship breakdowns.
This is never a good word, no matter the sentence. Cheating in relationships causes heartache, mistrust, distrust, and often, the general ending of a relationship. Of course, there are times when cheating has been a cry for attention and has resulted in a romantic relationship being rebuilt, but more often than not… no. Just don’t do it. Tell your partner upfront that you’re unhappy or greedy.
Everyone can’t agree on everything all the time, it’s just not realistic. As a couple, you’re not going to want to do the same things at the same time, all the time. You’re not clones. So in order to create a happy, stress-free life, sometimes it’s nice to do something you don’t really want to do, just to make your partner happy.
